REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

• Registered as an active student at home university.
• All exchange students must be nominated by their home university.
• Has at least completed a 1-year study period at home university.
• Age min.18 years old.
• GPA min 2.75 out of 4.00 (70% out of 100%)
• Able to meet the minimum standards of English language proficiency, by taking and achieving a specific result in an English language test, unless exemptions* are applied.
• A student should be able to meet the following minimum standards of English language proficiency by taking and achieving a specific result in an English language test unless exemptions are applied.

  • Academic IELTS test, the overall score of 6.00 or above; or
  • A TOEFL® Test, min 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), 79 (Internet-based); or
  • PTE, min 50; or
  • MUET, min 5; or
  • An official statement from the home university confirms that the medium of instruction is fully in English.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

• Registered as a full-time student at home university.
• All exchange students must be nominated by their home university.
• Have completed at least two academic semesters at home university.
• CGPA score: minimum 3.0 / 4.0.
• TOEFL iBT: 79, TOEFL ITP: 550 or IELTS Band 6 or TEPS or DUOLINGO certificate
• Have good English proficiency in both speaking and writing.
• Must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of UKM or placement provider.
• Agrees to be responsible for the costs incurred.

Universiti Putra Malaysia

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

• Registered as a full-time student at home university.
• All exchange students must be nominated by their home university.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00
• Students must have completed at least 1 semester in their home university.
• Have a good command of the English language in both speaking and writing.*
• Agree to abide by the UPM’s Rule and Regulation and pay any cost incurred during the mobility program
• For Korean students applying for semester exchange at the Faculty of Science and Food Technology, you are required to obtain a minimum of Band 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or a minimum of 700 marks in total for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)

Chulalongkorn University

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

• Registered as a full-time student at home university.
• All exchange students must be nominated by their home university.
• GPA requirement: A minimum of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
• Having completed at least 2 semesters at home university (for undergraduates)
• Required scores of the English language test (The scores should not be more than 2 years)

  • TOEFL (iBT: 79, CBT: 213, PBT: 550)
  • IELTS

    • Study in arts, humanities & social sciences subject area, usually require a minimum score of 6.5 in overall band (depends) with a minimum of 6.0 in each band
    • Study in physical science, life sciences, sciences & technology subject area, usually require a minimum score of 6.0 in overall band (depends) with a minimum of 5.5 in each band.

Thammasat University

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

• Registered as a full-time student at home university.
• All exchange students must be nominated by their home university.
• Letter of nomination from the home institution
• Statement of purpose or Motivation Letter
• Study plan for your semester exchange
• Academic Transcript of Record
• Letter of recommendation from the academic institution
• Certificate of Language Proficiency Test Result
• A photocopy of applicant’s passport
• Thammasat University Certificate of Health
• A photocopy of medical/travel insurance

Foreign Trade University

REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

• Registered as a full-time student at home university.
• All exchange students must be nominated by their home university.
• 1 copy of valid passport
• Enrollment certificate issued by home university
• General medical check-up (must be in English)
• Photo of English Language Certificate (Student from English native speaking countries or studying in English taught programs in home university do not have to submit English certificate)

  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT 65 or equivalent
